The easiest vegetable milk to prepare at home It does not require soaking the macadamia nuts in hot water. This homemade milk is a much better option than the processed ones you buy in the supermarket because it is chemical-free.

For a liter (1 L) of macadamia nut vegetable drink:

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 liter of hot water
  • 4 tablespoons of macadamia nuts

PREPARATION:

  1. Blend the ingredients.
  2. You may add cinnamon, vanilla extract, some agave syrup, or other flavorful ingredients.
  3. Strain the milk to remove residue, and enjoy.

BENEFITS:

Macadamia nuts mainly contain monounsaturated fatty acids, followed by polyunsaturated fatty acids, and are cholesterol-free. They also improve the balance of omega 3 and omega 6, facilitating blood circulation. In addition, they have antioxidant activity due to the phytochemicals present. Finally, they are micronutrient rich; they contain calcium, iron, phosphorus, magnesium, and potassium, as well as vitamins such as thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), retinol (A1), and niacin (B3).
