Golden milk overnight oats are an anti-inflammatory breakfast

Tumeric, present in golden milk, is one of the most powerful anti-inflammatory foods. This is how you can include it at the very beginning of your day.

  • 1/4 cup of gluten-free oats from Yogi Super Foods
  • 1/2 cup of hot milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon of golden milk mix from Yogi Super Foods
  • 1/2 a scoop of vanilla protein powder, or eat 2 eggs or tofu by the side.
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 12 teaspoons of powdered cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of macadamia nut butter from Yogi Super Foods
  • 1 teaspoon of chia seeds


  1. Prepare the golden milk using our French method or let it sit for 5 minutes and then pass it through a strainer.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients to a glass container.
  3. Let it sit for one night, or 1-3 hours.


Golden milk, or tumeric milk, contains tumeric, a tropical herb native to South Asia. It is used in Ayurvedic practices and is prevalent in Indian culture. It is well known that chronic inflammation plays a significant role in chronic diseases, including cancer, metabolic syndrome, and heart disease. For the benefits of golden milk, it prevents these conditions. Also, curcumin may increase levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), which promotes the growth of brain cells, and low levels of BDNF are linked to brain disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease.
