BENEFITS:
Golden milk, or tumeric milk, contains tumeric, a tropical herb native to South Asia. It is used in Ayurvedic practices and is prevalent in Indian culture. It is well known that chronic inflammation plays a significant role in chronic diseases, including cancer, metabolic syndrome, and heart disease. For the benefits of golden milk, it prevents these conditions. Also, curcumin may increase levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), which promotes the growth of brain cells, and low levels of BDNF are linked to brain disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease.
