"Perseverance and Distraction"
by Álvaro Morales Valdés, description:
This work is similar to one of the previous ones, which I deliberately did not comment on because today would be the day to talk about both. One is titled "Perseverance" and the other "Distraction." The difference between them is that one represents kundalini energy (the one with a red line ascending from a reddish base), and fohatic energy (represented as a red line descending from a reddish sky).
Kundalini energy is the energy of the Earth, rising through the soles of our feet and primarily potent in our genitals; from there comes physical strength in its instinctive part.
Fohatic energy (from Fohat) is the creative force of the Cosmos that enters through the world of ideas, passing through the brain to manifest in the material world. The epigastrium (heart and liver) must balance these two forces. If both are harmonized, they will bring health to our lives.
If both works of art (minimalist in style) are placed side by side, they suggest a spiral idea; these two curvilinear lines signify the two serpents on the Caduceus of Hermes, a symbol of wisdom and medicine.
A fraternal greeting to all members of this spiritual process.
