The painting accompanying Marco Barbi's important reflection today depicts a group of believers bowing and asking for help from Asclepius, the god of health, among the ancient Greeks. Asclepius and Orpheus are brothers, both sons of Apollo, who represents Light. This work was created in the midst of the pandemic. A woman lifts a sick child and brings him close to the caduceus. The caduceus is the symbol of medicine today, and also a sign of wisdom; it is in Asclepius's hand. It is worth mentioning that all doctors today take the Hippocratic oath before practicing. Hippocrates was a priest of Asclepius. Behind the woman who desperately believes in a miracle are the priests of the god of medicine. Fortunately, there is always a cure for every ill, and then come health and well-being. Thank you, Marco, for the opportunity.
