Quinoa is high in protein and fiber.
Rinse the quinoa. Add the rinsed quinoa and water to a pot with water (1-part quinoa to 3-parts water). Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook uncovered for 10 to 15 minutes until all the water has been absorbed. Remove the pot from the heat, cover, and let sit for 5 minutes. Then fluff the quinoa with a fork, season with salt to taste, serve and enjoy.
